Steve Bridges

bridgessteve.pngComedian and Impressionist Steve Bridges has been doing his right-on impression of President Bush for audiences across the nation. And while he’s not really the president, most people are hard pressed to tell them apart. He's also the country's most talented Bill Clinton and Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonator.

American parents will often tell their children that with hard work, they can grow up to be President of the United States. Steve Bridges never doubted his father’s words, but he did start to mimic his father’s words. From a very early age, Bridges has entertained family and friends with hilarious impressions of anyone within earshot. Renditions of Larry, Moe, and Curly would often turn Sunday drives into hilarious family romps.

Bridges' family eventually settled in California, where he grew up honing his performance skills. He obtained extensive acting and voice-over coaching in Los Angeles, even spending time with the notorious Groundlings improvisation troupe.

Bridges developed a repertoire of over 200 impressions, including TV characters Barney Fife and Homer Simpson, broadcasters Tom Brokaw, Paul Harvey and Rush Limbaugh; but his chilling impressions of political leaders Bill Clinton and Al Gore rapidly established him as a premiere vocal impressionist.

Applying “executive” skills and vision, in 2002, BRIDGES appointed a “creative cabinet” that has changed the world of comedy. He engaged the Academy Award-winning prosthetic make-up artist, Kevin Haney (Driving Miss Daisy), and the best comedy writers in Los Angeles to create the formula for a perfect “G.W.”

The uncanny results now appear regularly on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (NBC) and have been featured on Inside Politics (CNN), The Early Show (CBS), Good Morning America (ABC), Hannity and Colmes (FOX), and The Jeff Foxworthy Roast (COMEDY CENTRAL). Steve Bridges' impression of President George W. Bush is an hilarious, bipartisan comedy performance that will entertain any crowd. Staying above the political fray, Bridges elicits unparalleled raves from both parties. Whether you cite the “Hollywood Elite” or the Oval Office, everyone knows the material is refreshing, topical, and funny to the right and left.

Steve Bridges' global success has led to a myriad of projects, including full prosthetic performances as John Kerry and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Seeing that politics is an ever-changing world, his team of talent is already preparing for the 2008 campaign, creating their own President Bill (and Hillary!) Clinton for another pork barrel of fun.

Bridges humbly admits that he could never be the real commander-in-chief… but if you listen to the White House staff and America’s comedy pollsters, the votes are in. Steve Bridges is the undisputed "leader of the free world" of “American Political Impressionists”.
